Tips To Help You Stick To Your New Exercise Regime
1. Set goals
Set some achievable goals that have to do with participation and effort, not necessarily how many sit ups you can do, how far you can run or how much weight you've lost.
2. Reward yourself when you achieve your goals
Decide how you'll reward yourself when you arrive at your goals and celebrate your success.
3. Be consistent
Make your workouts habitual and you will eventually get to the point where you feel awful when you miss a session.
4. Record your progress
Keep a record of your endurance, flexibility, or strength. It can be a great motivator to see how much you have improved.
5. Become a morning person
You're more likely to stick to your exercise program if you workout in the morning. It's also good to get it over for the day!
6. Keep it interesting
Try different activities and locations. By mixing it up every now and again you are less likely to get bored and it's also good to invigorate your body by doing something new.
7. Add music
Exercising to music can be highly motivational and energizing. Choose something with a fast tempo and happy beat and you will soon feel the difference.
